This is a mobile phone SMS service that enables consumers to verify that the pack purchased is from GlaxoSmithKline.
The service is currently available for Augmentin 625mg ( Amoxycillin and Clavulanate Potassium) tablests and Zentel 400mg (Albendazole) tablets only.
Augmentin 625mg Tablets and Zentel 400mg tablets pack will have a label requesting the consumer to check for a verification code in the inner pack.
The inner pack has a sescurity label applied on it wiht a hidden unique code.
The consumer will scratch to reveal code and send a text message to a toll free number 15629 for verification.
The launching ceremony was done at Hyatt Regency Hotel on Thursday, 30th May 2013 by His Excellency Honourable Deputy Minister of Health and Social Welfare
